Evening of Amoré 2012

Last night was my third year of helping out with Evening of Amoré, the annual fundraiser for the youth group at church. Several of the high schoolers acted in the skits I wrote and directed, which told the story of seven characters who are suspected of stealing a painting from an art museum in London. The students did a fantastic job, and it is always wonderful to see my writing come alive in front of an audience. The food, entertainment, auctions, and 1940s London atmosphere made the evening enjoyable for everyone, and while I was glad to go home and get some rest after it ended, I was also disappointed that it was over so quickly! My dad took some pictures during the dress rehearsal and performance of the skits, and I hope you enjoy the ones I’ve included below.
